OBJECTS IN TYPOGRAPHY
Illustrator Sarah King and graphic designer Thomas Cheng are my inspirations for this typographical piece. They both use objects in their typographical pieces. Sarah King writes words on objects such as fruit and Russian dolls, whilst Thomas Cheng uses objects to create words, and convey meanings.
TYPOGRAPHY ON A HEART
I decided to do some typography on a heart, which relates to Chuck Palahniuk's quote "Your Heart Is My Pinata". The heart is a real animal's heart, and I used a hand created stencil and paint to create the lettering on the heart.
